⏲️ What Parents and Kids Share

Parents come in all sizes, types and flavors. I'm not comparing them to ice cream cones or fruit smoothies, but the varieties are endless. Kids, of course, are also are very different even when they are identical twins. I know that because I'm an identical twin.

If we are all different as parents and kids, what do we have in common? What is it about Big Idea FLIP! that allows us to share the common experience of engaging with each other with the goal of equipping our kids to succeed.

I suppose it's because despite our differences and struggles to master our own destiny, we know it's right thing to do, equip our kids for success. I also feel kids have an inherent right and instinct to do well and be happy, no matter their current circumstances.

What brings both parents and kids together is interests, passions, ideas. If you will "dreams". Parents have them for their kids and themselves. Kids have them because they deserve to explore and imagine without regard for facts, logic or practically. A bit of whimsy make the medicine of growing up go down smoothly.

I don't know what your kids respond to or what your favorite thing to do is. But, whether you engage over their Big Idea or your Big Idea, each FLIP! can become an "Adventure to Success" for everybody. What all parents and kids have in common is the need to engage and communicate over a FLIP! that can teach kids and parents entrepreneurship, growth mindset and program management skill sets that can equip them to succeed in all areas of their life.
